Would you like to be an expert at management,
enhance your ability to communicate and
be known as a leader in your present position?

Dear Future Leader,

group of executive coaches photoHave you been thinking about optimizing your management skills?

Coaching techniques provide a specific way of communicating that can support you in working better with your team and being more productive in your job.

In our experience as Executive Coaches, Managers who utilize coaching skills report higher productivity and retention among their direct reports.

You know you are ready to become trained in coaching techniques for managers if you are a:

gold checkmanager who wants to lead a team or company to be more productive and profitable

gold checksuccessful professional who wants to mentor others in an inspiring way

gold checkbusiness leader who wants to inspire others

gold checksales person who wants to improve your rapport and questioning skills

Because you are a successful professional, it is highly probable that you are already using coaching skills.  It is just a matter of incorporating them into a specific methodology.

Think about a master carpenter.  He has a set of tools that he uses.  Some of these tools are the very same tools that anyone would have in his garage.  And some are more advanced.  All of them together create furniture masterpieces in the hands of a master carpenter.

In your training, you’ll learn to become a master manager. You already have some of these tools, such as the ability to listen, ask questions, and praise others. You’ll learn how to use these tools with more mastery. And you’ll also receive more advanced tools to enhance your ability to manage and communicate even more effectively.

I understand what you need to make this happen. You want to be able to learn these skills quickly and easily, and begin to implement coaching in your business life.  You need a program that you can take on weekends; and one that does not take a year or two to complete.  You already have much of what it takes to become a coach; you simply want to learn how to put it all together.

I never cease to be amazed at the power of the coaching process to draw out the skills or talent that was previously hidden within an individual, and which invariably finds a way to solve a problem previously thought unsolvable.

– John Russell, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson Europe Ltd.

In research conducted over the past three years we’ve found that leaders who have the best coaching skills have better business results.

– VP of Global Executive & Organizational Development at IBM

Many of the world’s most admired corporations, from GE to Goldman Sachs, invest in coaching. Annual spending on coaching in the US is estimated at roughly $1 Billion Dollars.

Karen Cappello
Hi, I’m Karen Cappello, and you can learn more about my journey to coaching here.

What’s important for you to know about me is that I have been a trainer for 3 different coach training programs over the past 10 years. I have spent over 10,000 hours both in training coaches, and being trained myself.

I have an M.A. in Higher Education, along with being a Master Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation and a Board Certified Coach through the Center for Credentialing and Education. I am the former Chief Learning Officer for International Coach Academy. As you can see, I have lots of experience both in coaching and training.

Prior to becoming a coach, I was a university professor, president of a semi-conductor manufacturing company and an estate and financial planner. I have worked with executive coaching clients from: Accenture, Manpower and Ford Motor Company.

To me, coaching is one of the best and most empowering professions in the world!

I've led multicultural teams through reorganization, expansion, a start-up and a corporate merger, all with a coaching approach. As an executive leadership coach, it's important for you to know that I am credentialed with the International Coach Federation and the Center for Credentialing and Education. I partner with individuals and organizations helping them to improve performance, employee engagement and profitability.

I have been a trainer for many years, delivering courses to coaches and corporate employees. As a coach trainer and mentor coach, I've worked with International Coach Academy, Impact Coaching Academy and The Global Academy of Coaching. It's a fortunate opportunity to be able to share my passion for coaching with student coaches and managers and leaders looking to add coaching techniques to their cadre of skills.

My global experience as a leader, expatriate, trainer and coach creates a unique learning environment suitable for international organizations. I’ve seen the benefits of managing with a coaching approach first hand and am excited to share this with you and your organization!

ONE OF THE MOST VALUABLE INVESTMENTS IN MYSELF EVER

I took the Leverage for Leaders training because I wanted to add coaching skills to the “toolbox” of techniques that I use every day as a lawyer, arbitrator, mediator and advisor.

It wasn’t until after I had completed the course and began working with my first coaching clients that I fully realized how fundamentally different coaching is from any of these other disciplines. Yet at the same time, coaching techniques and practices have made every aspect of my professional and personal life easier and more joyful.

I work with dozens of individuals and organizations daily and whether they are my law firm clients, fellow non-profit board members or just personal friends, I use my coaching skills and coaching principles to develop and nurture positive relationships that help others reach their goals while I reach mine.

This training has been one of the most valuable investments in myself that I have ever made.

CHANGED EVERY RELATIONSHIP IN MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER

I took this course because I was told that it would change every relationship in my life for the better.  It did that!  A highlight of the event is that it changed my relationship with myself, and also the relationship with my sons.

I found that the course allowed everyone the ability to be honest and commit to their own growth and learning. It was very refreshing and expanding for my mind.

While I highly recommend this course for personal development, I have also been able to begin a private coaching business because of it.  Even though I have been a successful businessman my whole life, I am now able to do a better job of listening and mentoring.

Thank you to Karen and all of the rest of the class members for an extraordinary experience!

– Fred Sowerby, Tucson, Arizona
